Geordie Brown  Creator / Director

Geordie Brown is an award-winning singer, actor, pianist, director, and musical arranger, from Halifax, Nova Scotia. A finalist in David Foster's Star Search Atlantic singing competition, Mr. Brown has portrayed numerous musical roles on stage, including: three seasons as "Roy Gardner" in Anne & Gilbert: The Musical at The Guild in Charlottetown, one season at the Chester Playhouse Summer Festival, lead roles in the Dalhousie Opera, Canadian Premiere productions on Neptune Theatre's Fountain Hall stage in Halifax, and his critically-acclaimed performance as 'Roger Davis' in RENT at the Spatz Theatre in Halifax. He has an extensive resume of television and film appearances, including The Tenth Circle with Kelly Preston, Stephen King's Bag of Bones with Anika Noni Rose and Pierce Brosnan, and Rick Mercer's Made In Canada.

As a director and producer, Brown is fresh off the success of an all-new acclaimed production of the Canadian musical revue "Stan Rogers: A Matter of Heart" ( at Neptune Theatre in Halifax, and The Guild in Charlottetown. He is also the Executive Director and Co-Creator of "The Advent Show" ( at the Spatz Theatre in Halifax, an annual production that has raised over $160,000 for local charities who help the homeless, while fostering emerging local talent. Brown directed the Atlantic Canadian premiere of Pasek & Paul's "EDGES" at the 2009 Atlantic Fringe Festival (Fringe Hit Winner), and has been the Production Director and Co-Host of the annual Bid For Life event in support of the AIDS Coalition of Nova Scotia.  Mr. Brown is a long-time Cathedral Musician and associate music director at St. Mary's Cathedral Basilica in Halifax.
